DryFlekt® was established to create effective sustainable solutions
for ineffective field fabricated flashings.
With
over one hundred years of combined experience, the collective
members of DryFlekt® have witnessed the unnecessary
damage that occurs at roof to wall intersections due to
ineffective field fabricated flashings, or the lack thereof.
DryFlekt® solution to this design detail has been fifteen years in
the making.
Beginning
with an oversized metal fabricated part, design development
transitioned through the creation of a plastic vacuum formed
prototype. Subsequent improvements have included seamless
construction, adjustable diverter angles, material flexibility,
heat and ultraviolet stabilizers, ice damming prevention,
installation uniformity, and aesthetic considerations.
The
result… the patented DryFlekt® Kick-Out Diverter
Flashing; the initial product of the DryFlekt® Building
Envelope Flashing Components product line. An industry approved,
non-corrosive, non-conductive polypropylene copolymer product
designed and created through innovation and technology to
match the modern roofing and wall cladding requirements
of sustainable building construction. |
